• Club Size: More than €50M
  • Country: England
  • Division: 1st
  • League Name: Premier League
  • Project: Seeing is Believing
  • Partners: Standard Chartered
  • Background: Liverpool FC activated Standard Chartered's sponsorship by providing a platform through which to raise awareness for the latter's global charitable initiative 'Seeing is Believing', which aims to tackle avoidable blindness.
  • Good Practice: The usual Standard Chartered logo on the Liverpool shirts was replaced with the 'Seeing is Believing' emblem. This is the third time that the 'Seeing is Believing' logo has been displayed on the iconic red jersey to raise awareness of the programme's work in the fight against avoidable blindness. A number of follow-up initiatives, such as player shirts from the match being signed and auctioned on eBay to raise money for 'Seeing is Believing'; and all donations being matched by Standard Chartered, as well as related activities on social media.
