By visiting the site www.responsiball.org / community.responsiball.org you accept the following practices:

  1. About this privacy policy
This Privacy Policy covers RESPONSIBALL (the ‘Platform’)’s treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect when you are on the Platform or when you use the Platform’s services.

  2. Information collection and use

If you choose to become a member of the Platform you must first accept a declaration of non-solicitation. The Platform is built to host a community of members that will learn by sharing experience and knowledge in the various field of social responsibility in the football sector. We have a strict policy to ban members who are using the Platform for any form of solicitation, offering or promotion.
You are given two membership options during the registration process:

    • Training Ground Member
If you are an employee or employer of a registered football club, league or governing body and can provide proof should your profile details not confirm this, then you are invited to register as a Training Ground Member.
You will be required to give your full name and username and the name of your club or organisation. To encourage more connection between members, it is also recommended (though optional) that you include the additional information: job title; role description, key social responsibility topics that you cover in your role; key social responsibility issues that you cover in your role; the website address of your club or organisation’s social responsibility page; useful links that other members would be interested in; and your profile photo.
This information will only be seen by those other members, which meet the requirements of a Training Ground Member and which you have been authorised by you to view your profile details.
Once you have completed your registration, you have the option to include your contact information, including your phone and address details.
Each time a Training Ground Member carries out an activity on the Platform, such as updating his or her status, adding or commenting on a good practice, starting a new group, and so on, it will be tracked on the Activity Page of other users. An activity update will describe the action taken by the member, using his or her full name. Other users seeing this information can see the activity but not the profile of the user unless they are already ‘colleague’ or, in other words, they have given each other authorisation to see the profile details as described above.
Where Training Ground Members carry out an activity that appears outside of the Training Ground, for example contributing to a post on the Forum, only their username will appear and no link to their profile is provided. As described in the paragraph above, however, this activity will show up in the Training Ground Activity Page for other Training Ground Members to see.
In addition to normal Training Ground Members, as stated above, the Platform also invites a small group of expert organisations to be part of the Training Ground. These Supporting Partners have signed an MoU with the Platform signalling their intention to support football clubs to develop socially responsible practices.
As a member of the Training Ground, you will be asked to complete a ‘Club or Organisation’ page. This page lists details of your club or organisation. You are required to list your club or organisation name. To enhance the experience on the Platform, it is also recommended (although optional) that you include (where applicable): league name; division; club size; social responsibility home page; address of club; name and address of affiliated charity/foundation/trust; and the logo.
At no point is your email address disclosed to any user on the Platform unless you expressly choose to display it.

    • Match Day Member
If you are not an employee or employer of a registered football club, league or governing body but are ready to learn more and share experiences and knowledge with others on the Platform, then you are invited to register as a Match Day Member.
You will be required to register your full name and username and have the recommended option of adding a profile photo. As a registered member, you will have access to the Forum and to the Good Practice database.
At no point is your email address disclosed to any user on the Platform unless you expressly choose to display it.

  3. Editing your Information and Preferences

As a registered member, the Platform gives you the ability to edit your Information and Preferences at any time.

  4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
